Jason, who was educated at Cambridge University and has an MA degree with Honours in Economics, began his career at Eurotech Security, where he was responsible for the control room and operational delivery for a number of blue-chip accounts including Arcadia Group, Asda, Woolworths and Dixons Stores Group.
Jason later went on to work for Loc-Tite as a management accountant and then on to events security for AS Security. It was following his post at AS Security that he identified a gap in the market for a security guarding company, focused on providing value to customers rather than simply focusing on profit margins. It was then that he proposed adding a manned guarding line of business to Eurotech’s business portfolio, for which he would assume responsibility.
Following 18 months building a successful manned guarding business with AS security, Cardinal Security was born. Cardinal Security Ltd was established in 2003 as a manned guarding provider.
Almost 12 months ago Jason Trigg exited Cardinal Security. Having built the guarding business up over the past 18 years, it had become a well-respected player in the risk management industry and he then sold the business.
Now Trigg has returned revitalised to the industry with Amberstone Guarding, a new entity under his control that seeks not only to rescue the situation caused by the collapse of Cardinal, but to eclipse the achievement of what was once his company.
